About Me
As a staff cameraman at the BBC, I worked on a variety of studio and outside broadcast productions at various BBC sites around the UK, becoming a highly competent studio pedestal operator, as well as gaining experience in the use of a broad range of OB and studio camera mounts.
Leaving the BBC in 2001 after completing a degree, I freelanced, predominantly under contract to BBC Wales, but also for various other companies while working part-time as a researcher.
In this time I continued to develop my skills, undertaking a post-graduate diploma in film producing and helping in the development of Go Faster Stripe, the Chortle Award winning stand-up comedy DVD production company based in Cardiff.
In October 2010 I returned to the freelance market full-time since when I have continued to specialise in the multi-camera studio and OB discipline, working for a range of clients across various production genres.
As an EITB trained electrician I am confident in the use of technical equipment and hold the Skillset Certificate in Temporary Electrical Systems (SCiTES).
